Privacy notice
Updated October 17, 2026. This notice explains how Space Era handles information when you use spaceera.io.
Information and purposes
You can use Space Era without an account. Technical information, including IP addresses, browser details and request logs, may be processed to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose errors. If you contact us, we use your email address and message to respond.
Cookies and saved preferences
Space Era saves preferences, such as bookmarks and display settings, in your browser. They remain until you clear them. Analytics and video choices are saved for up to 180 days. Use Privacy settings to change either choice or clear Space Era preferences. Browser settings can also remove site data. Essential security cookies may be used and are separate from these controls.
Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand site usage and improve Space Era. It measures page views and interactions and may process referring sites, device and browser information, approximate location and cookie identifiers. The analytics tag stays blocked until you choose Allow analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
Decline analytics or withdraw your choice at any time in Privacy settings. Blocking analytics stops further tag collection and clears this stream’s first-party analytics cookies, but does not delete information already received by Google. We do not send names, email addresses or account IDs to analytics. Initial page URLs omit query strings and fragments, and referrers are reduced to their origin. Automatic form and site-search collection are disabled. Learn how Google uses information from sites using its services, read Google’s privacy policy, or see Google’s Analytics browser opt-out.
External content and service providers
Optional YouTube and X videos load only after you allow them. Those providers receive network and browser information and may use cookies for playback, measurement and advertising. You can withdraw video permission in Privacy settings; this does not erase information already received or third-party cookies.
Maps and images may load from Esri, NASA and Wikimedia when you use the relevant features. These providers receive your IP address and requested resource. Providers supporting site delivery and security may also process technical request information. External services handle information under their own policies: X, Esri, NASA and Wikimedia. Google’s policy above also covers YouTube.
Retention and your rights
We retain information we handle only as needed for the purposes described above or legal obligations. Service providers apply their own retention practices and may process information outside your country. Where applicable, necessary processing supports service delivery and legitimate security interests; optional processing relies on consent where required.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, obtain a copy, withdraw consent or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity. You can clear browser preferences without contacting us.
Children, changes and contact
Space Era is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We will update this notice when our practices change.
